³⁵ That night as well they made their father drink wine, and the younger sister slept with him. He did not realize what had happened, not even when she lay down or when she got out of bed.

³⁶ Thus, the two daughters of Lot conceived children for their father. ³⁷ The older sister gave birth to a son whom she called Moab, “from my father.” He is the forefather of the present-day Moabites.
